Needle & Syringe Program

What is the needle and syringe program?

The needle and syringe exchange program allows you to visit one of our centres during office hours to get clean needles and syringes. It is there to protect the health of people injecting intravenous drugs by giving access to clean injecting equipment. It is set up as a self-service counter at each site.

Disposal bins for used injecting equipment are also at each site.

We also provide a needle and syringe pick up and drop off for people with diabetes living in the City of Stonnington. Please call us on 0418 175 249 to organise a suitable time for pick up.
